Thumbs up ▼ Fall Sale: Velos Designwerks Performance Software w/ Personal Tuner for X5M

Members,

We have had great success with our performance software for this platform and want to thank all members of XBimmers. We want to get everyone who is on the fence on board, as many of your know we are willing to go through all details and offer great support at all times. if you aren't sure now is your time to contact us to go over your options and hopefully find a solution that works best for you.

Our performance software solutions will give you control of your software and give you access to factory and tuned modes at all times. Peak gains are in the mid range where you spend the majority of your time driving. Throttle response is also improved in all modes.

The package includes the personal tuner, cables, and instructions. A PC is required to transfer the files (ie a jump drive) but not required to program car. You do not need a laptop the personal tuner works independent of a lap top. If you have any other questions feel free to PM, Email or post in the thread. There are also several reviews on the forum and members who can provide more real world feedback.

Peak Gains:

80HP @4550 rpm
120lb ft of torque @ 4550 rpm

Package pricing also available if paired with an exhaust or any other product.

Advantages:

Access to Multiple tunes (ie factory file)
No need to remove ECU
Quick Turnaround
Ease of upgrade down the road if needed

Our performance software will add peak gains of roughly 80Hp and 120 lb ft of torque.

Our Stage 2 Performance Software w/ Personal Tuner retails for $2250.

Stage 1 is a detuned version of Stage 2. Basically only done by special request.

so to run the stage 2 i don't need downpipes? i'm used to sti's, gt-r's and evo's where stage 1 is just a tune, and stage 2 is a tune with intake and turboback exhaust. omar i should be picking my tuner up from fedex today, just so we're clear i can run the stage 2 on an otherwise bone stock car? i decided to heed your advice and just wait to load the tune after my next service which is in 1000 miles.

Smile Velos Tune

I just installed my Velos Tune yesterday. The results are amazing! The acceleration of my x5m is on a whole new level. After I have fun racing around town, I'm going to see if my mpg actually gets better too.

Thanks Omar for the all the help along the way.

Two quick questions:

Is this dyno to the wheels? Or is it crank?

Other question is does this tune pass OBD readiness for those in states that require inspection on a yearly basis. I.E....are there any issues with the O2 sensors that owners have been made aware or other items that has required difficulty with inspection rather than having to switch back and forth from stock to modified tune
