I'd have to agree with a few of his highlights, but he has some major misses. I'd profile him as an inspiring writer, struggling to put food on the table that is embarrassed with his current ride - giving him a complex.

X6M is a great car! I would fully agree all X6's are rather obnoxious, lack practicality and cause a lot of discussion and controversy. But, any great car does the same.

At the same time, they're extremely well built, high performance, capable of being an all season daily driver, unique and sexy.

We have 2 we like them so much - and are often complimented on them. I look forward to my drive to the office every morning.

I sum it up as these guys are not car guys, not sure exactly what GQ guys are and hope I don't know any. I wonder how I became so successful without reading GQ, I must be one of those blue-collar types they refer to with such disdain.

A quick perusal of most online reviews, whether on sites dedicated to cars or not, turns up some pretty polarized views of the X6 in general. Contrary to the negative opinions, however, a few random strangers have offered compliments when asking about my car.

Obviously, I happen to love the looks of the car, and I would love to own an X6M. But I can see how if someone is not sold on the concept of the X6 in general how the X6M would be the ultimate embodiment of everything they dislike about it. Wouldn't bother me though. At the end of the day, I'd have a car I loved, and realize that opinions are like a55holes- everyone has one.

This article cannot be taken seriously. You can say "douche" about any car! "Look at that Volvo wagon douche", etc. The article is basically fluff nonsense. And, by the way, my X6M is an amazing vehicle and wouldn't trade it for the author's Toyota Camry ever.

My view it that 90% of the time the person making the comment cant afford a car like an X6M and will slate it saying its rubbish.

I dont car less what these clowns say, its one of the best cars i have seen and draws attention everywhere.
