Front and rear reflector install

I tried searching but can't seem to find any instructions on how to install painted reflectors on my x5m for the front and rear. anyone have any write ups or advice, do they just pop out or do i need to get behind the bumper? any help is greatly appreciated.

What I did was I looked at the exact one (side) I was replacing to see what side of the reflector the clip was on. I took a long piece of dental floss and doubled it up so it wouldn't break on me and I wedged it in behind that specific side or corner of the reflector you are removing and I pulled slowly. It will pop out, then simply push in the new painted ones. I just did this on mine and that worked best for me front and rear!

For the fronts I removed the one bolt on the fender. It's very easy to spot as the rest are rivets. It is right behind the reflector. That allowed me to pull back that section and insert a screwdriver to push the clip. Took less than 5 minutes per side. For the rear I just pried them out. Literally took all of 30 seconds a side. I'm sure the floss will work great as well. Good luck with everything, it's amazing what replacing the reflectors does for the look of the car.

Bumping this. Was that for the X5m? The front reflectors look like they're not straightforward to remove off the X5m, and wondering if anyone had any experience or tips for it.

Thanks
