Wax and Leather question
What are you guys using to clean your leather on your X6?
I have the off-white/light tan leather..... I noticed that my driver's side has some discoloration to the arm rest on the door and the center console as well as the seat..... Any help? I know that when I bought it they put a protective treatment on it... Secondly---they put a lifetime wax on it when i bought it. 2009.....are you guys still waxing twice a year??? |

Wax it, all that lifetime stuff is sales rubbish, not sure if you can get Gliptone Liquid Leather but well worth a try, cleaner and the conditioner.

I have Oyster interior also, I found the Armor All Wipes in a plastic can work great. I keep them in the truck and hit the door armrest, drivers seat, and center console while I am filling with fuel. If you do this once or twice a month you can stay up on it. Note this color does NOT like blue jeans.

I really like the Swissvax waxes and leather treatments especially the wax made for BMW's called Bleuweiss. The sun here in Oz can be really severe but the wax seems to
hang in there. Best is to wash cleanse then a couple o f coats of wax and the result is great. The leather treatment is great too. Cheers chooky |

Hi, I am new to X6 ownership and will also be using gliptone to look after the leather and for the paint I will be using the Werkstatt Acrylic kit (jeffswerkstatt.com) I buy from a company called Polished Bliss that are based near me here in Scotland.
