Finally feels like a $100K truck.

It took some patience but finally got the leather dash installed, thanks Gatoferoz25 for the proper intel. Beer on me when you come out to the West. It completely changes the feel of the car. Feels like a Range, except its fast and can handle. I would not hesitate to say this is my favorite mod thus far. Still not sure why they let them roll off the factory floor with out it.

Very very nice, saw one on a totaled x5m and thought about buying the dash and doing the same thing! Totally agree the leather wrapped dash does bring it to another level.

Did you do the doors as well or is it just the dash?

Don't let me into your X as I'll probably drool over that dash.

Love it dude! This is one of my biggest regrets when purchasing - not holding out for an X with this option!

I barely remember this thread; but having had a Cayenne Turbo and a Range Rover in the two years before my X5m; I really feel this mod. My X5m has a plastic dash and it never bothered me until now - this shows me what I never knew what I was craving.

Please link original post so I can see what I'm in for in terms of modifications. I'm thinking this is the sort of mod that's only approachable by someone much more talented than me. It might be cheaper for me to sell my car and buy another with the option specified!

Mad props dude; looks amazing.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I had it professionally installed, I can take no credit for it. I can put a price on most mods, wheels, exhaust, tune, etc.. This is truly priceless. It literally feels like driving a brand new car. The whole sensation and attitude is new, I can't really describe it. Anyhow, I recommend highly!

It's a carbon fiber textured Leather. Actually pretty nice.

I was looking at changing my wood trim to the black piano or this.

That's awesome! I thought it was just a matte wrap, but a fancy one from BMW. It's leather?? Amazing.

Beautiful!!! I was always wondering why BMW would put a plastic dash in such beautiful car!!!

Please tell me more about what you did with the paint!! I have the same color with some fine scratches on it ...second owner... the first one didn't give two craps about it

Have you seen my sunglass holder thread?! That was the other thing driving me nuts, not having a sunglass holder in it... I do now!

Multi-contour seats. Might be tough sourcing them however.
