Purchasing an X5

Hey everyone,

Posting from Vancouver B.C. and i will be trading in my G35c for a 2012 x5 in October when my insurance expires.

I was wondering what is everyone take on this car, how reliable is it and i've heard that the earlier generation of the X5 there were alot of problems, few of my friends have advised me not to get one but this is one my favorite SUVs available on the market.

So if you can point me in the right direction that would be great!

I plan on buying the X5 with technology and M package.

I've had no problems with my X5 that I picked up last November. Of course I've had 2 Land Rovers (LR4 and RR Sport) so I know about reliability (ha ha). I think your safe with BMW.

1 RR Sport and 2 X5s. No comparison. The X5 is fantastic and rarely visits the shop.
