Trailer Hitch on an X5 with Aero Package

Looking to buy a used 2009 X5d that has an aero package on it. I would like to tow and noticed that it does not have a hitch on it. The current bumper is solid. Can a 5000 lbs hitch be added to this X5? How would it go on? Thanks
Eric

Thanks Blue!

Most X5's that I see have black bumpers, front bumper and lower trim. All parts that are normally black match the body colour on this X5. Is that an available option for 2009 or would this be after market changes?

^^ That looks like it could me the msport bumper, not the aero kit. If its the msport, then BMW says the OE hitch is not compatible since you have to cut the bumper. There are guys who do it though.

Seems like my newbie status does not allow me to PM. If you can email me the details at ejaschin@yahoo.ca I'd appreciate it. Let me know what you think of it? I looked at the website and it didn't show the tow capacity when I went to the BMW X5 details page. What is yours rated for? Who did you get to install it?

Thanks for the feedback!
Eric
