If you are referring to the black trim around the wheel openings, then they will need removed, sanded, prepped and painted by a professional. Not for the DIY'er unless you have automotive paint experience. IMO.

I agree. I like the look, however, I can imagine the cost to remove all of it, prep and paint, and reassemble. For a black car (mine), it's not a big enough change for me to justify it.

I had 4 wheel fender arches, rear bumper, and 2 other pieces, removed, painted and installed for $900. Make sure they sand the texture to make it smooth before painting, and you need a life time warranty .
