Drag strip

Hi guys,

I am planning on taking my stock X5M to the drag strip Wednesday night. I am hoping to set a baseline to compare against future mods.

I am wondering what kind of prep needs to happen. Ideal Tire Pressure, can the seats come out? How to best use the launch control. Gas levels? These kinds of things!

Well, weather cooperated tonight and I went to the track. My first run was a 12.9, it was about 82 degrees out and about 30 minutes later I put in a 12.69 at just under 110 MPH. Very pleased, cant wait to see what a tune and real tires can do!

What kinds of times are you guys seeing?

Cool. I would like to do the same with my 550i. Keep posting. I'm curious to see how the performance evolves.

U will run mid 11's with an aggressive tune and non rft's. Let the mods begin

I am curious if any of the aero parts advertised help with the top speed?

Biffs ride is pretty fast.....Dinan is pretty solid
