What alarm system do you have? What is the best?

It is scary to think that an expensive BMW X6 can be stolen! I read that thiefs can use a laptop and decript the wireless signal within 30 mins and then open and start your car wirelessly!!

What car alarm system you you have? and what is the best alarm or GPS tracking you know of?

Are there any ANTI-GPS JAMMERS available?

To be frank, if your car is targeted to be stolen by professional, it will therefore be stolen, no matter what you install. Sorry to say that I always feel that it is better to be stolen by professional than an amateur. At least you will not see your car again you know it will be well taken care off by professional. Any way the insurance company will pay for it. The worst is by amateur they take it for a joy ride and destroy your car for fun. Don't worry so much, see the poll all of us just install the standard BMW alarm.

I agree with you that if it is really targeted, it will be taken. But i disagree with the ideology to make is simple for them. If you have a good Clifford alarm, plus a GPS tracker & anti-gps-jammer, it would give most professional thief's a big run for their 'stolen' money!

Am I the only one who thinks like this?

The problem is even if your car is fitted with the state of the art anti thief system your insurance premium wont make a different. If they are professional nothing stop them all they need to do is just jam your system and those jammer is easily purchase in ebay.

I have bad experience with my first 2 bimmer, both un-professional job. Broken door lock, broken window all they want is to get to my sunglass, a few coins and try to start the car.

+1 A pro has a semi trailer line with shielding to prevent any type of signal from getting through.

It is just a car and more than likely you will dump it in a few years anyway.

If my car was stolen, I would not want it back as it will be trashed within minutes of being stolen.

Thugs don't steal BMWs, only the most skilled know what they are doing and they are far and few between.
