X5M Spark Plug
Hey Guys,
For what it is worth I have finally found the part number for our spark plugs. BMW gets the plugs from Bosch, Bosch's part number is ZMR-5-TPP-33. I am going to change my plugs and maybe do a DIY with some pics. According to the attached Service Bulletin plugs on the X5M should be changed every 30,000 miles. I am still looking for some information on the transmission fluid and differential. If any body knows please let me know. On my old M5 you were suppose to change the different fluid every 3rd oil change and also the SMG fluid. One other interesting note, is the ZMR-5-TTPP-33 and the ZR-5-TTPP-33 are the same plug made Bosch. Bosch said the only difference is they stamp the M logo on the ZMR-5-TTPP-33 for BMW. They said the plugs are identical and have the exact same spark and burn rates.

Awesome for making up the DIY... I just recently had my spark plugs done and the dealer needed the X for the entire weekend... I don't imagine its a quick job. Good luck.
