Agreed. The bicolor also means that they have a machined finish with harder edges and not a polished finish with curved/softer edges, and I always prefer the latter.

Edit: And it actually looks like the bi-color 403Ms are actually tri-color in that picture. Machined silver for the face, gunmetal around the lip, and black inside the spokes. Just like the 220Ms.

Do you think they'd fit the E9X M3?

When can we expect the M3 Sedan? I really love this car, but sadly because of the engine choices (only going up to a N55, sadly) I just may need to pass over this and get a 550. My lease is up in October of this year... is there any chance in hell we will see a M3 Sedan before year's end?!
The F80 M3 sedan will probably be out in mid- to late 2013.

And regarding the N55, BMW will probably offer a 340i with an upgraded engine a few years after the F30's debut (though that doesn't help your October deadline).

The M-Sport will not be available with the introduction of the F30. It's going to lag behind by about 6 months.

When will they show us the real version? Its a prank, right? Please, oh please, first the turbos, now this? Whats next, they will start selling the "nitro package" and sponsor "fast and furious hong kong edition"?

Someone needs to fix the steering wheel, its absolutely horrible.
Hah, I guess it's a matter of taste. Personally, I love that steering wheel and consider it a reason to get the M Sport. But there are always options if you don't like it, e.g. the Performance wheel.

I hope so. M Sport also comes with a short shifter, can't wait to see the first photos.

There are no definitive answers yet. But, the E92 and E93 M3 models will be available through summer/fall 2013 so it's highly unlikely that we'll see an F80 M3 before Fall 2013.

Concur 100% It is stunningly good (having seen it at the BMW Welt).

Very depressing how BMW NA insists that the US Market is too ignorant/uninformed for a cruelty-free interior. I won't be buying one as I don't want to have someone blow the brains out of 4 or 5 thinking, feeling cows so that I can sit on their toxin-treated skins.

Why is it so hard for BMW NA to get with the program? Leather isn't some kind of fabric--it's the skin of a murdered animal for God's sake.

Personally, I really love the steering wheel. It's one of the main reasons I'll be getting the M sport package. The only thing I worry about is that the buttons look like they'll be a little hard to press..like your thumb could easily slide off to the top or bottom..

That would be nice looking, but too much to hope to get a new leather option.
I would be happy to get hexagonal aluminum with the Gray/Black leather already offered on the Sport Line.

Yup, Hex Aluminum plus blue stripe and black leather is probably what I'm going to end up with. Although I'm strongly considering the superman combo and going with the red seats and hex aluminum with black stripe. Estoril Blue is a must have color for me though. If they made gray available on the M sport my decision would be much easier.
