Locate vehicle using BMW remote app

I have searched and cannot find the answer.

I can use the BMW Remote app on my IPHONE to lock and unlock; but, the locate vehicle function does not work. It always thinks I am parked at home.

I am aware that beyond 1/4 mile or so, the location function does not work.

Any help on getting this to work is appreciated.

Never works for me either. It always says it cannot be located

Never mind, I just got it to work. I wish they'd remove the 1km or how ever much limit though

Yes, I have the newest software. When I was in for service, they said I need to drop a pin on the screen. That did not seem right.

Lock/unlock works just fine.

For me the app is slowwwww. Lock and unlock takes like a few minutes. Locate takes its time as well.
