Looking for more POWER

My car is X6 with the N55 engine,

Before, I was really impressed by its power considering that X6 is such a heavy car, but now I kinda got used to it already.

so, how do I make it faster?

I currently have a downpipe and catback exhaust upgrade installed.

Planning to get:
1. K&N air filter- but some say it doesn't add any power, just better sound

2. Burger Tuning Stage 1 - says on the website that it adds about 40hp and 50tq to the wheels on a stock car? Mine isn't a stock car, so I guess it'll add even more? http://burgertuning.com/N55_Jb_BMW_P...nce_Tuner.html

What other options can I do?

Thanks in advance

Get an X6 with a V8? Kidding. With your current mods, go for the JB4 so you can run stage 2

+1, just buy a JB4, not the stage 1.

Run map 5...perhaps a bit of E85 here and there for fun.

Edit: Actually, I don't know if they make a JB4 that works with the X6.

Are you running a Catless downpipe without a tune? A JB4 would be the best route to go with that Downpipe.

I don't believe it is, no. Go with the stage I, you'll love it.

@bmwstve , your option is either BMS Stage 1 or RaceChip Ultimate.

So which one is better?

BMS or Racechip Ultimate?

I've just searched about Racechip Ultimate and the tune makes 382hp/ 505nm!! is this great! but is this worth the extra cost compared to BMS stage 1?

Simplest way to put it.

BMS is bang for the bucks.

RaceChip Ultimate is better quality.

Performance wise, comparable.

Better quality, meaning more durable in the long term?

also, the i've read in some articles, Racechip ultimate has several settings and sometimes can cause Check Engine Light?

BMS stage1 only has one setting?

@bmwstve , the BMS is built by mostly off the shelves component. And it need a sold separately USB cable and a laptop in order to change the boost gain setting.
RaceChip is weatherproof casing, higher speed CPU, and proprietary component. And you just need to open the casing for adjusting the boost gain via the dial.
Both tunes if you adjust the boost gain to high, you will get a CEL.
Also based in my experience and customers feedback, the RaceChip has smoother power delivery.
Don't get me wrong, I sell both of them.

thank you very much for your replies, lets make it simple, since I have no idea in making any boost adjustments and don't want to risk having the CEL, which tune delivers more power when installed on its default setting? (this is plug and play without having to do any adjustments)

For that, the answer is RaceChip.
Easy to change the setting also.
The BMS would be more complicated for you, since you have to understand the usb to serial port setting and understanding BMS software interface.
