Front LED signal bulb problem.

Just installed the WeissLicht led signal bulbs. I turned on the signal lights and the fronts do not work. Then rear lights and fender side marker blinks but no blinking from the front headlight. Put the stock bulb back in and nothing. Both front signals do not work. Halos, headlights all work fine. To think about it, i don't remember seeing the fronts work before. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks

I don't know why the regular bulbs wouldn't work unless you blew a fuse or something, which I doubt. However, sometimes those LED bulbs needs to be reversed in in order to work. So perhaps try that.

You might want to check for voltage to the terminal. You could use a 12 volt test light for that. http://amzn.com/B000M5ZWBA

Are you getting errors on your dashboard saying that lights are out? I can only assume your front indicators were working previously, otherwise you would have gotten a bulb out notification. I find it strange that both bulbs would mysteriously go out right as you change to LED bulbs.

Otherwise, maybe disconnect the battery, reset the system that way, and try again?

Thats strange.....I was planning on replacing that turn sig bulb with an LED too. I would follow the suggestion of disconnecting the battery and letting it "reset" again. Otherwise, coding might be needed.

I tried disconnecting the battery and still no front signal lights. As for the in dash error, i never got anything before and after i changed the bulbs. If any of you have tried to change these bulbs before it was a real pain to get your arm in there and twist. Well, back to the drawing board.

I just got these installed in my car. It was a real pain. They may seem like they are installed but the prongs have to be seated properly with the connectors. Otherwise they won't light up. But the dash will show an error. My trick was to turn on the hazards or the turn signals on and than install these LED bulbs. This way you will know if they are seated properly. No errors so far. Knock on wood.

Nice close up pics.

Have had them in my X5M since April and no complaints here either. A nice tech no yolk look when off and a super bright amber when on. Install was not bad once I used a tiny flat head screwdriver to open up the prong slots on the bulb before installing.

I installed them solely to lose the egg yoke look, the super bright "hey i'm turning" was a bonus. I turn them on in a dark garage and it lights the place up.
I gotta look into the rears.
