Rear Cup-Holders
Just had my first back seat (driver) passenger in my 2012 X5 and she discovered that there are no rear cup-holders. Pulled the ski door/arm rest down and nothing. I looked in the owners manual and nothing. Am I a knoob and missing something here?

pull out the end of the arm rest - closest to the front of the vehicle. It is there.

Yup, close to the top near the headrest area, there is a little button, and the cup holder folds out from within the arm rest (Assuming the arm rest is lowered)
It's a stupid design IMO. I would have preferred something in the center console... I have a car seat in the middle today.

Geez! Got it gang. Thanks for the help. That IS a crazy design. My e92 holders come out of the dash which is weird also. I never use them. Cant believe I couldn't find that in the manual. Oh well, that's what the experts on this forum are for!
