need advice on X5 side step

I'm planning to get the Romik nerf bars from a local online shop-- http://4wheelonline.com to save a few bucks and since I don't like the look of running boards. Does anyone have the Romik tube steps? How's the install? Or if you know something similar to it, please let me know. Thanks guys.
