Cerakote on the Dash?
I recently bought the Cerakote Trim Coat kit and used it on my massively faded 2007 exterior trim. There is no way something this cheap (20 bucks) and this easy to put on (just clean, dry, and wipe on) should give this kind of amazing results (pictures below).
This has me wondering if it will work on my black dash (and upper door trim near the locks). Has anyone tried this? I reached out to Cerakote and they only said they haven’t tested it on leather/leatherette interior. I know not to put it on my steering wheel, but I’m thinking it might work great in the dash. Thoughts? Here’s a couple before and afters of the exterior: |

I suppose you could try a spot under the dash and monitor for a while. But like said above, not intended use and id be wary. And if you do it, you'll probably need to do all the dash and get complete access to edges to avoid multi color dash. Good luck.
