DINAN Response

I recently wrote to Dinan about a X5 d tune and why have they not been working on it. I'm sure their are many like me who have had other Dinan tunes (335i) and other products and feel better about the warranty they offer and stand behind. My local BMW dealer has just returned to be a reseller of Dinan products.

I received a reply that was "due to insufficient interest from the diesel community, they have not put this on their to do list".

This may or may not be BS, but maybe if all of us and those from other forums let them know of our interest, Dinan may look into it.

Send your emails soon!

Thanks,

Doug

I would go with JBD. There are 26 pages of discussion here: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5571

Now if only BMWNA would bring the X5 M50d to the States, I think I would have my perfect car - M power and performance coupled with diesel gas mileage .
I say keep the X5d and get a m3, m1 or a z4 M to satisfy the need for speed.
