Dealer gave me Castrol Edge for x5d (Not SLX)

this morning I changed the oil on our diesel, it was v simple, even easier than the 335 ... however, the dealer didn't give me SLX, I asked him repeatedly and he said this is the oil we use in all diesels, it was LL-04 but everybody on the forum seems to be using SLX ... (its the tan bottle with green sticker CASTROL EDGE Professional OE 5w-30) - Is this oil okay or I need to drain and put SLX from I dont know where

You're ok, this EDGE superseded old SLX - it even has BMW part # if you want to verify.
