Any advice on hail damage repair?

Greetings fellow X6'ers,
Has anyone successfully dealt with hail damage repairs (or other dings). I got caught in a sudden hail storm and suffered damage - major heartbreaker. There are services that specialize in repairing this type of damage - 'paintless dent removal' but was wondering if anyone knows how well this really works? Any advice very much appreciated.

Luke, we received minor hail damage in a severe storm about 3 months ago.(Golf ball to tennis ball size)

However its only under certain light conditions that you see 2 of the dents. Just below the windscreen, & on the back tailgate. The noticable one on the drivers door My BMW dealer offered to remove for free but the suction method wouldn't work.
One for the panel beater.

That's my experience too with tennis-ball hail. Had considerable damage in the 1999 Sydney hailstorm and had to have almost every panel replaced. No hope of fixing it.

I've seen dents taken out by dentmasters that you'd not believe, worth a try.
I'm sure there must be something similar in the states.
