E70 X5 Air Suspension/Compressor Issue

I had a leak on one of the rear suspension airbags and replaced it just over a month ago with a new Arnott bag, car had been intermittently sagging for a few weeks prior to this. The airbag on the other side let go a few days after - massive obvious gushing air leak and sagging, so replaced that with an Arnott bag too. Everything worked fine for a month, but noticed the compressor was noisy/rattle so suspect I had left it too long to replace the airbags and it had been overworking or maybe it just goes at a similar time… Last week, car dropped at the rear end on both sides, compressor not activating. Checked the fuse for the compressor and it had blown. Replaced the fuse and relay and compressor still not turning on so replaced the compressor with a new Arnott compressor. Now can hear the compressor coming on and pumping for 90 seconds or so before cutting out when car is started, door opened etc, but there‘a no air going into the rear airbags and the car is still sitting on the deck with the level control fault on the idrive. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, tried pulling the 10A fuse in the rear for the suspension and that’s fine and when reinserted compressor activates but still same fault and air doesn’t go into the bags or lift the rear of the car. Can’t hear any leaks anywhere obviously. Neither bag is getting air but compressor is coming on now so think compressor had gone but not sure where to go from here, would some kind of computer/coding issue cause the problem after replacing the part - somewhat confused though as the compressor does activate!
