X5 E70 LCI side skirt

Hey guys,
Just had these LCI side skirts installed. I didn't remove the running boards though. Searched all over but couldn't find anyone that's done this and wasn't sure if it was possible without serious modifications which I didn't want.
Anyways, had them painted and installed with no mods to the car, only had to shave a bit of the skirt.
I'm super happy with the result. Just waiting for the front and rear ones to complete the look

You say LCI, but those don't come standard on X5s, right?

No, they don't, they're part of the complete factory kit but I got the skirts first to make sure they can be fitted on with the running boards.

Looks nice!

Haven't seen any X5's with the side skirts from the aero package, usually just front and back.

Approx. what was the cost of this? I'm in Toronto as well so I might be interested in doing this along with the front/rear aero kit.

Also, what are you lowered on?

Not cheap but well worth it. Skirts from Bmw were around $550 and paint/install was just under $800.

I'm on KW V3

You could paint it to match or just do it black, either way I think it would look good!

Do you happen to have the part # for the side skirts?

I checked RealOEM but can't find that part anywhere

Does it just attach/screw into the existing running boards?

Hard to tell from the pic

No, these come with new sides that delete the running board.
So there is a bit of mods you have to do because of the different curvature of the skirt.

Weird, your pic looks like it's just attached to your existing running board.

Sorry, I meant they're made to be installed non-running board skirts.
However, I wanted them installed on with the running boards, so they had to be modified a bit to fit these.

Ok I'll send some on Monday.

Lowered on KW V3, about 1" left on thread up front and all the way down on rear,
to me it rides excellent for what it is. However, on the next one I'm definitely going full air ride
