Tail light water ingress

I have had my 2012 x5 for about a month now. I noticed today both the driver and passenger tail lights (on the vehicle not the door hatch) have some drops of water ingress.

I have a warranty so will go that route.

Have others had this issue? Were you able to fix it without replacing the casings?

E91 wagons get this a lot for some reason. Most people just have to replace the whole thing as the gasket is attached to the plastic cover. I think you could try sealing it off with some butyl tape, probably wouldn't make it worse, but could mess up the chance at warranty repair.
