You can do the conversion yourself because I am lazy.
X6M gets average 10-12mpg. Never seen it higher. I am not at liberty to discuss how I drive it, but let's just say, how it was meant to be driven |

Ahh AndreyATC your the only one that makes my possible purchase more reasonable lol
I live 40km so 80km round trip from work so this bad boy would be my dailydriver just curious how much time I would spend at the gas station. 560 - 600km isnt too bad as I drive like a grandpa for the most part...I have a Porsche RUF R Turbo for my dirty work |

I personally noticed very minimal difference between them. It really comes down to where you drive and how you drive it M is capable of good MPG, but it's tough to keep it below 2000 rpm If you drive like grandpa on the highway, you may even able to squeeze 23mpg (10L/100km) I can do this often when i have my kids sleeping in the car while cruising 60mph (55mph - limit) The problem is, when i'm alone - M is too much fun Last edited by AndreyATC; 09-13-2013 at 01:08 PM.. |

I do measure my car in the other scale, my onboard computer readings are:
City driving: 4.3kms/liter (23L/100kms) Open road driving: 8kms/liter (12L/100) We have no good highways in Costa Rica so it is difficult to get better mileage at a constant speed

x5m here
best I ever got was 6.7L/100km, cruising at 110km/h on a level road. on the streets, its fucking terrible. I might as well get a fuel tanker to fill my tank as I am driving. |

initially I was very concerned about it as I thought it may relate to bad injectors or sensor..checked with BMW and they found no codes and also checked several other X5Ms and X6Ms and all have an average which fluctuates between 27L-30L/100km

If you put in prospective the joy of driving such a monster the fuel is not an issue in any way.....
