I'm wondering the same thing too. hopefully it will be 'bout the same price as the X5.... (which might be not as it will eat into X5's sale then)

I dont particularliy like how the back slopes down like that. The front is nice though. Its very X5esque. I prefer the X5 to be honest. Call me a traditionalist... Still not bad though..

Awesome!

Looks great . I think BMW has done it again and is pioneering a new category. Sure subuaru tried, but they never marketed the Outback sedan. I think this car will be for the person that wants a high riding all terrain vehicle{ think rally car} that is not to be confused with a soccer Mom mobile. Before you all flame me I had an x3 and I loved it but it also felt a little Barbie- ish, I know I sound sexist but it is the reality that lots of SUVs are driven by women {who can blame them- better than a Minivan}.

I just hope they build the speculated smaller 3 series version, the x4!
That will be the perfect rally mobile!

+1

Looks like a Dune Buggy on steroids.......

I think the X5 with 20's or 21's is better looking than this and has more room.

I do like the front though........

I'm waiting for the X5M due out in a couple. It will have the X6 front airdam and a Twin-Turbo V8 good for at least 410HP........

Course I'll need to hit the local bank to afford one!

Where are all the people who hated it? 19 out of 20 people in the oast said how ugly it is and its not going to sell. Now everyone is in love with it? I dont get it. I liked it from beginning and said I would wait for the final one to reserve judgement and all I can say is WOW. The crossover looks realy good and it still looks like a BMW.

As an owner of both a M6 and an X6 (and limited parking space @ home)

I'm watching this and the E70 closely. If the ///M group takes this car and drops in a V10 or a nicely tuned TTV8, I may consider consolidating.

I actually prefer the rear of the hybrid, but it's still early in the game.. let's see how it develops.

Credit to BMW for stepping out of the mold...

I agree. But it's the same story with almost every new model BMW comes out with. People absolutely hate the cars when they're in camo (look at the e90 / e92 / e93 / m3 / etc..), but sing its praise when they are finally unveiled and nicely photographed. But I guess this just means that BMW does a good job camoflaging their test vehicles

Right Here! I didnt like the look with the Camo on it, but with the official pictures out I do like it. I have liked a few others before unofficial pictures.

That's the BMW concept CS - the most recent concept by BMW (next to the X6). It's supposed to show where all BMW design is headed.
