Had to repaint the car - the first run didn't come out the way I wanted it. Second try came out SICK.

At the booth...

Paint done...texture and color came out like Shark's Skin. Here are the final build pics before I pick it up this week and put the new shoes on.

those pics looks good. definitely post pics when they have all the pieces back on.

also, please tell me they removed your seats etc, before they painted the car? or at the very least wrapped the interior in plastic?

Hey esquire - its my shop and yes, they wrapped everything completely sealed before painting the door jams. I would have gone nuts if I ended up having matte grey seats.

Wheels came in and hope to pick up the ride tomorrow. 3 weeks of minivan driving has been enough.

just in case your wondering, i'm doing an SUV Reventon....

Hi,
Did i read that you had install (Meisterschaft exhaust) ?? You have really made the best selection .
This is the best exhaust sound I've ever heard , , but i heard it on X5 V8 , & i hope you can upload sound clips of the exhaust on the X6, you'll be the first one to upload it on the internet , cuz I'm fed up of searching on it , , i think the sound will be perfect on the X6 5.0 ..
By the way which kind of Meisterschaft exhaust you've install ? & How much you get it?
Thanks

Hi jouzef2
Ahh...Meisterschaft. The best exhaust?...definitely not. The best sounding?...to each his own, but for me, I bought it mainly for its sound output. I think it brings out the real twin V sound. So yes, I think its the best sounding exhaust (IMO).

I will be uploading sound clips soon and I'll PM ya once its uploaded. You might want to reach out to BJ from Vivid Racing. He is an awesome guy to deal with.

Heey spicysausage,
For me yess it's the best sounding ever , but for the HP gain ,, i think it's too low comparing to others .. & it has too high price

Why it is not the best exhaust system for ya ? are there a disadvantages?

I will be waiting for your PM Bro.

Amazing job! I love the colour, even in that terrible iphone picture
The rims look great as well, would want to see some more of the back set, looks like they have a deep lip.

Have you thought of taking the badge off the front hood? Just a thought
