Off topic-New M5 Stop

Checkout the threads on the M5 forum. Ugly.

BMWNA telling owners, stop driving car, flatbed to dealer. 2-3 weeks for parts.

What a shame

I was looking at the M5 as my next car or the F15 X5M. And I'm amazed at the amount of issues reported so far from the M5 owners. So far I've read about:

Noise from the rear axle/shocks
Noise from the trunk driver side
Squeaking interior materials in heat
Missing seat side bolster adjustment
Distorted sound from speakers

And now the oil pump. Just Wow... From an icon sedan for around $120k. BMW got soft... That's what happens when you go quantity vs quality. There is just too many new models being introduced into the BMW lineup. VW built quality anyone... Not to mention I have many similar issues with my 2012 X5d.

All issues seem to be resolved or well on their way. I am hoping to have a trouble free experience.

That's just a ludicrous thought, honestly.
