can the menu of the on board computer be added to?

Hi,
I just bought a 2011 X5 in Canada
The odometer is only in KM
I was wandering if it would be possible to add the speed (when change to Mh)
to the obc rotation, now its only the range, consumption, and avrg spped ?

I do some travel to the states and having to figure out the speed is a pain
And I figure it has that info, but how to show it?

Any thing I could show a tech at the dealer, because as far as they are concern it's not possible, but I suspect they are just evading....
