thanks bro, I ordered wiring harness from e-acca and amber leds from Bimmian today, ones I'll get the headlights I'll see what else I need.
I might be able to recode my FRM3 module so I will try that first, looks like I will need to get LED modules for sure and then what ever else needed!

You probably right, I just heard that FRM3 after 4/2012 might be recoded but then again u guys already went thru this so u know better

I found this interesting link from Xoutpost, guy doing kinda overview on his X6 install, based on what he says it's possible, I do remember about orange dot on new module

Thanks, I bought the roundels from IND...I don't think they have them listed on their main page but you can contact Ryan from IND, I believe he's floating around this forum. Gloss black roundels were $100

I really don't like these new yellow plates, I was unaware that you could get a custom white plate I'll look into that

Kimo is 100% correct that you MUST get a new FRM3 module...we actually had to get a third FRM3 yesterday since the high beams weren't working(Autologic wouldn't recognize them) The hardest part of this retrofit is the coding, if every lead isn't in the correct place or not pushed in all the way or you don't have the correct modules you're looking at a major headache!

As far as Bimmerfest...I already registered a few months ago, hopefully I won't run into any family complications like I did for Mpact which I was unable to attend

thx bro, I will get new footwell module is it the same part number we talked about, how will I know it has this dot on it is it latest revision?

I'm heading to get my suspension done, if everything will go as plan I will be registering as well!

I'll most likely attend Bimmerfest but will NOT be driving down in any type of caravan...apparently over 70 guys on their way to Mpact were pulled over in Jersey for driving like idiots and given a ton of tickets!

well no caravan for me either, I'm coming down from NH, probably driving thru the night!

I'm in the shop right now, waiting for my suspension get done, sure enough we found couple other things that were not perfect like controller module was tough to remove but looks like we passed it! this is what happens when u get in to it.

I don't know when I'll find funds for the rest of the parts like footwell and led modules but having LED, bulbs and retrofit cable sitting right there next to me won't help slowing me down!

2 MCB trucks is enough lol...Her 50i just hit 70k miles and I hope I don't jinx myself but it has been problem free since we got it over 2 years ago!

Dropping the beast off to get the Vorsteiner lip re-installed and some more coding...I'm also looking into some new performance mods...new turbos, oil catch can, meth...just when I thought the truck was done, the voices in my head say keep going!
