x5M -HIGH OCTANE RACING FUEL / STOCK MOTOR

ive been going to the local drag strip and running constant 12.8's or 12.9's on 94 pump gas bone stock engine and 22" adv10's. i was curious cause a local station sells 110 at the pump .. what mixture would i use and would it be safe?
they also sell 114, 112 and 110 by the drum or maybe even gallon .. anyone give some tips.. i was contemplating doing a 50/50 mix with 94 and 110 before my next trip to the strip or just maybe bring a jerry can with 110 in it and just mixing a certain amount at the strip..

Im pretty sure you would need software or a remap if you want to be able to get real gains. As far as I know stock software can't really run race fuel effectively.

Running race fuel to increase power is a huge mistake.

The reason race cars run higher octane race fuel is too ward off detonation. Most race engines have much higher compression ratios. or are high boost. These things cause detonation and the hgher octane fuel burns slower so detonation is held off.

Since the higher the octane, the slower the burn, running octane higher then you need, will actually slow your car down. now if you had software to jack the boost up, then the higher octane would be perfect. But on stock tune. No need
