Need opinions on wheel color
I bought a white x5 m-sport with the 333 wheels. They have quite a bit of wheel rash and some corrosion around the center cap due. The shop can fix the wheel rash but keeping the two tone paint will be expensive instead of just spraying them all one color.
I'm having trouble deciding between either a darkish silver or a hypersilver (see pictures below). I don't want to go to dark as that will make the wheels look smaller and I think too dark looks terrible on a white car. Sample grey/silver chip from the shop against my actual wheels. stock hypersilver picture |

a good in between would be the color of the M5 wheels from the e39 Generation. I believe its called shadow chrome, but its really a 'hyper' gunmetal color. I have it on my X5M winters

I think a gray/darker gray would look good. I have an AW M Sport and I sorta like it when the wheels are a little dirty, they look a little better when darker than stock.
Not a fan of black wheels at all, especially on white exterior. |
