Cougar transformed into a R8....damn.

Usually, replica's turn out to be pretty crappy but this one is really .

I wouldnt buy it even if it was for 5k(Original price is 50k euros) but "" to the maker's effort. I for one thought it was a real R8 until I read the article(They gave a very convincing pic)

Here are some pics.

I'm not sure but I think this pic is the original car....!

I want to see a Buick LeSabre pull up to that thing and slam the gas.

The LeSabre owner's reaction would be priceless when he sees that monstrosity in the rearview mirror.

Lol...this is so retarded. Why don't these people just put the effort that they put into making the replica into making money to buy the real thing?

Thumbs down

I would rather drink a cup of my wife's pee before I'd drive that around.

For a lot of people that do this sort of thing, their hobby is in the building, not the buying. Kind of like making replicas of WWII fighter planes, replicas of vintage boats, etc. It's like building a model car, but you can drive it. And generally it costs VASTLY less than the real thing (like any model car).

I mean, do you have a hobby or pastime? Why don't you use that time to make more money, instead of spend money and time on a hobby?

NASA can help you turn her pee into water so it should taste just fine.

I'm trying to figure out who would spend $50K on a this?

I see your point, I've just seen a few of these lame things lately. I mean it's totally cool when someone builds something from scratch and it works and looks like the real thing, like where that guy built and Lambo by himself, or that guy made a working scale model of a Ferrari.

A replica P51 Mustang or... I guess a Focke-Wulf 190 would be pretty cool.
