Wink just installed led fog lights

Rather simple procedure. When I tried to remove the silver part, instead i was able to remove both the silver and the black plastic together as one unit. I didnt need to remove the housing as i just reached behind it, took out the old bulb and installed the new one. the way the wiring ended up, the resistor is up in the air not touching anything and its closest to the radiator so i dont think it will melt anything. i got no errors or flickering, and the light is an extremely bright white. its a little whiter than the headlights, similar to the new led halos i put in. i attached a couple pictures.

I used these bulbs from ebay: 2 H11 CREE LED Projector Fog Light 25W No Error BMW E71 X6 E70 X5 E83 F25 X3 Z4 the seller is bluerampin, they were $55.

ok i have an update, when i started the truck later on, the fogs flickered for a few seconds. Not a big deal for me, easy solution is to just drive with them on along with the headlights. its a perfect match the color is nearly identical to the headlights and halos.
