Ok guys. I understand how to take this plastic out. Very easy just slowly pull out, starting from right side continuing to the left side.

This is how it looks like:

The "mounting plastic clips" is soft so try to do everything gently.

Great info, thanks!

Instead of blacking out the fog and plastic piece, I am thinking about just taking out the whole section, and just put a mesh grill on top.

Just talked to the dealers.
They have 2 concerns for me taking out the fogs:
1. If doing so somehow affects the electrical circuits, they will not honor my warranty.
2. They said they have no way of disabling the fog light error codes. I asked what about those people who installed performance bumpers? He couldn't answer.

So in short, I am stuck with the fog lights.

AvetNY, do you have any pictures of after painting the silver fog light trim and tinting the lamp?

I might need to go with the same set up

Hmm that seems interesting. Are you looking to change your fogs to HID?
There is a recent post around here about LED fogs.

Looking forward to your pics!

Between you and me I want to remove them at all. I just can't find stock cover without holes.

PS: That Anti-Flicker Capacitors will remove our error I think

I am not too sure about the capacitors. Those are normally used to stabilize the current so lights don't flicker.

To remove the code error, we need to "trick" the car to think that the fog lights are still there. So, we can use a big resistor to do the job.
I have successfully done this in my previous car (changing to LED signal lights), but mind you, the resistor gets very very hot. The best option, imo, is to do some coding to disable the fog lights once and for all..

My dealer said they can't do such coding though.........

found this 2 puctures on my phone. I will upload more...

Btw I recommending to use plasticdip. I did 9 times coatings. The result is excellent quality with 100% of matching color.
(PS and big plus that you can always remove it)
;-)

Thanks for the pictures. That looks pretty good.
But I think the fog lights still stands out a bit too much.
Maybe you can start working on tinting it
