Ordering New 40d ?

Hi Folks
Does anyone know when a new X6 will be available, knowing the new X5 is due out end of this year. The new X6 shape is rendering and my dilemma is do I buy a new one now as the LCI, or wait for the new shape. Previously I've come out from new BMWs within a year and have taken a hammering in depreciation, cannot afford to do the same again. To add, I normally fully load my cars. Any neutral advice will much appreciated guys.

Many thanks
Nicky P

New X6 is expected to arrive in 18 months at the earliest.

No spy photos until now. All available photos are based on speculations.

Will you order a totally new model? Or better wait 1-2 years for the new shape to stabilize?

For me, I pulled the trigger on a new X6 50i fully loaded.

Waiting is not a bad idea if you are not in rush, but I won't order the first patch. I will wait at least 6 months after producing the new model and order it.

I just pulled the trigger on a new one as i couldnt wait. I love the current shape and if i was not so impatient i could have waited until BMW started offering better deals as we get closer to a new model.
The current deals on the X5 at the moment are crazy cheap I wish they would flow onto the X6.
