Leaking DEF question...

Hey everyone, my 2011 35D X5 is leaking some DEF from in front of the passenger wheel. Looks like it may be from the active tank or somewhere in the general area. I also have the check engine light which recently came on with codes: P20e8 and P208e.

A couple questions, could these codes and the leaking DEF all be connected?

And I'm in RI so it doesn't look like we have the expanded emissions warranty like in CA. Do you guys think this would still be covered under the federal emissions warranty? Thanks!!
