Cold start SOS message

My 2011 35D is giving me SOS message on the dash when I start the car in cold weather anything under 0C. No iDrive, no radio. After driving for a while iDrive will start and also the radio.

Any ideas?

I'm a personal driver and have a Maybach 57s. I received that message a couple of times In that car and it means the charging system is low so all convinance will turn on shortly. You might want to get a trickle charger as this car comes with one to be used over night.
Just my experience with that type of message. Good luck
