It's low enough as it sits.... and very tasteful.
No need to go any lower IMO.

Nice collection of wheels. The 239s were my favorite.

Thanks, my main reason for wanting to do the 2 inch drop is that i want the front to come down a little more. currently, i have 4 finger wheel gap in the front and 3 in the back, and i'm just not full happy with the height on the front. Personally, I think 2 finger gap all around would look ideal, but i won't lower the rear more for the ride quality sake.

Thanks, altho the 239 was only a test fit on my car, it ended up on my friend's X6

IDK man, your current height looks great as is.
Maybe a front spoiler/splitter would give the front a more aggressive look that you are looking for?

Thanks, the sensors for the front is installed in the middle grill below the kidneys, I will get a picture when I get my car back from the dealership. I have tested them and had a few real encounters, yes the ALPs are absolutely amazing, it is currently the best system on the market, no comparison

haha, maybe i'm just someone who can never be happy I have considered a lip as well, but I don't think a lip works well where i live as it will only get damaged one way or another. I hate having rock chips on anything, but it's unavoidable

That's another reason why I like the oem lip so much. Perfect fitment, flawless construction, and it does not lower the front end or stick out too much. This roller shows these features nicely:

In short get a lip!

^agreed!
Once I recover from the LED headlights, downpipes, rear diffuser and tailpipes I just shelled out for this month, I will pull the trigger on one myself. Hopefully before Bimmerfest East.

OMG, all this peer pressure, I will rethink it once the Canadian dollar gets a little better, it's been pretty bad since the new year and I really don't feel like paying 25% extra in exchange rate compare to christmas time last year which was under 10% extra

Here is the picture, I did cut the grill slightly. I also have 2 sensors in the rear which is double sided taped to the edge beside the license plate lights and back up camera. The control pad is mounted where i get super easy access for killing the jammers after getting hit

Thanks for the pics. I've been thinking of getting them for the the last few months but I haven't pulled the trigger. I've been trying to find placement for a good balance between concealment and performance The ALPs seem like the best on the market.

No worries, I think my front sensors are pretty concealed with the head of the sensor just touching the back of the grill which mean you can't see them unless you really know what you are looking for, the rear is pretty visible, but I have yet to get a actual rear hit other than when testing. Know your area and there is probably a high possibility that you don't need the rears and yes it's ALP or nothing

I love your color, my prior E53 X5 was blue on tan (hated the tan), but now I'm white on Sakhir Orange. I had some questions for ya though:

- when you wrapped the front grills, did the film get wrapped around the backside as well or cut flush?
- how are you liking your Blackvue? I saw you kept mentioning the speed was off, but why? I recently watched a YouTube video testing dashcams and I remember seeing yours mentioned. $300 isn't bad but I'm still looking for a better deal unless you'd recommend this over any other setup.
