Purchase Advice Requested - Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Received the following offers from a local dealer - are these purchase-worthy deals (BMW Select Plan) ? I know some will say, it all depends on what you are willing to pay for the car you like, blah, etc. But I'm really interested in finding out if these are what's expected out there - I've seen other posts of $1,000 over invoice, etc. Anyway onto the numbers. And thanks in advance for those replying. 2011 X35i Sport w/ 328, 322, ZCV, ZTP, 677, 6FL, D&H - $60,425 - $2500 down - $708/month, Payoff $24,736 (1.9%) 2011 x35d w/ 322, 328, 386, ZAP, ZPP, ZPS, ZRC, ZTP, D&H - $61,675 - $2500 down + $4500 diesel credit - $746/month, Payoff $25,270 (4.9%) If others know of dealers that are willing to beat these prices or have suggestions - please feel free to PM me as well. Thanks again, dc |

those payments look about right. i assume the payoff is after 60 months of 7xx/month?
is the first deal BMW Select and the 2nd one is not? why 4.9%? also does that include FL tax?

Hey Matt,
Yes. Both are for 60 month payments. Both are BMW Select - supposedly I was told the Diesel had a different finance rate which was at 4.9% - is this correct? The monthly payments include all taxes, fees, etc. Thanks |

thanks Matt.
So did a little more research, looks like I'm about $1700 over invoice on the 35i. Hopefully I did the calculations right. Looks like I have to drive another $700 down. |

$1700 is definitely too much over invoice - just did a 35i premium for $500 over, but $750 seems to be the average people are getting, at least east of California!
