How different is the engine? I haven't read up too much on the new M5 just know its V8TT like the X5m and X6m. It would make sense to put the same motor in the M5. I am sure the programming will be different but as far the hardware goes it is the same? I can imaging the M5 producing a little less torque down low and a little more power up top being a sports sedan.
Anyone have any info on the weight difference? |

Main difference between M5 and X is Valvetronic on M5
Engine is the same with few minor changes Still S63, but with technical updates http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=548345 |
