How about Performance Motorsport in LI??? http://www.theexperience.com/
They hang out (have meets) on every sunny Sat in their shop's parking lot and the shop from 11am - 6pm. You can dyno your car ( 3 dyno runs for $50.) It is pretty far out in LI, Saint James; but we could all meet up somewhere in Bklyn, Queens and then have a nice cruise to Performance Motorsport. Like that we not only hanging out at one place. We will go for a nice cruise with our Xes and then hang out at the P.M. which is a big, nice shop where you can talk with tuners and more or even just wax your car in their lot. |

Sounds good....but I want to keep the Queens meet.....Everyone else has them and us city folk always have to trek out to the far reaches of everywhere to attend other people's meet.... Getting together for a cruise to somewhere works for me and im down for that. I'll even try for different place and instead of making it a weekly thing....we can make it every two weeks to give enough time to find a new interesting location and change it up. I agree with it getting boring every week in the same place...

There are always some young a$$ holes with Civics, 240sx(es) and G35s that shows up to all meets and ruining it by doing burnouts and racing in the middle of the parking lot. There is also heavy police activity. Last time when i went to Best Buy I saw Feds in the parking lot in unmarked with plate-readers on their cars
