Introduction - New Owner, New to Forum

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum. I just bought my first BMW ever. It's a deep sea blue 2013 X5 xDrive50i. The car is in very excellent condition, runs and drives like a dream. I really love this car!

I was wondering....If I close my eyes and imagine very hard that it was an X5M, how long would it take until it actually turned into one? Does anyone have any experience with this happening? Any tips on how to get it to happen sooner rather than later? I appreciate any feedback.

Welcome to the fold! I have a 2012 50i dark blue also and While a 50i will never be a true M unless you want to spend some serious cash on things like the torque vectoring rear end, twin scroll turbos, bodywork, seats, gauges, suspension, etc it can be as fast as an stock M 0-60 and 1/4 mile time (low 4 second 0-60 and mid 12 second 1/4 mile) if that is your goal, by just installing the ESS tune and downpipes (debatable how much difference downpipes make though)
