35i 8 Speed Transmission Coding

Is it possible to code the transmission's TCU to the F style shifting? I have an F30 with the 8 speed and shifts a lot better so I was wondering if it was possible so I wouldn't go the xHP route

Did xhp release e70 coding? Waiting for that. Xhp is good

Edit: just checked. No support for e70 8hp yet.

Yeah that sucks, but I know on the F30 you can code it behave like a sports transmission if you don't have the sports tranny, can you do the same with this one?

Download XDelete and change the car to RWD instead of AWD. Then throw it into sport mode all the time.

I will do that in the summer, but kind of need AWD in the snow lol but have your heard of any coding that'll improve the shifting? On mine when I step on it, it downshifts gear by gear most of the time instead of skipping gears to the right one. It also requires me to step on it more than any other car to get it to downshift

Why does xhp offer tuning for the x6 n55 but not the x5?

They do for the 6speed but not the 8 speed. Guess there isn't enough demand. Sucks

It is a bummer. I think the E70 was the only E chassis that got the 8 speed transmissions and they probably saw that we are a very small market which is not worth the time (35i and 50i) The diesel and M both have 6 speed.
