Newbie X6
Hi everyone, how is it going on ? I'm a new driver here and I have no BMW experience before, so I have a few question about stuff for x6
1. the performance kit for x6 will be done by myself or have to bring to dealership? 2. for the wheel and runflat tire, can i just bought and plug them in without any error( cause i know there is something like "flat tire monitor") ? 3. what benefit can i get if i install H&R spring beside lowering the car? sorry for my English because its not my 1st language, hope u guys can understand and give me some recommence. Thank you and have a great ones |

1. depends on how handy you are at doing body work and painting.
here are some links to show you what the kit is and give you an idea if you can do this yourself ( most likely not as painting involved): http://www.google.com/search?q=bmw+x...Q&ved=0CE8QsAQ http://www.bmwblog.com/2010/03/03/ge...ormance-parts/ 2. I think the car already has to have run flat integrated into idrive since that is where it shows up, so think it's a little more that just some sensors in the wheels. 3. This is a personal preference type of thing , generally lower a car will help with it's handling , the X6 handles amazing well for it's size so you would want to think about this, as it generally makes the ride harsher. |
