Anyone Have to Provide Proof of Injector Repair for DMV Renewal?

I am trying to renew my registration for my 2011 X5M in CA, but I need to provide proof that the injector recall has been performed. I had the injectors replaced at the dealer last year and have my service records, but don't know what exactly I need to show DMV. Has anyone provided proof of the injector recall to renew their registration, and if so, what exactly did you need to provide? Thanks.

Just have the dealer run a report on outstanding recalls on your VIN, and it should be clean, bring that to the DMV?

Why not just provide the service record of that service from mlast year?
Better yet, get a new one made by the dealer, that has the words, "recall performed," appended to that document?
Or have the dealer print something on their letterhead stating it was performed, along with a copy of the service record.

CA is funny sometimes... About regulations. This is one of those times, where I would hope that EPA rules could trump (no pun intended) the local CA rules about CARB.

that is insanity. I see the logic behind the insanity of 'we in the Republic of California can not have this car running around with failed injectors as it will pollute!' but wow. I have no idea why no one has sued that state for silliness like this.

I hear stories about California, and I think about how glad I am, I am not in that state.
