New ticking noise at around 2,300 RPMs

[0.00] 2003 Ram 1500 [0.00] 2006 Honda Odyssey [0.00] 2007 BMW X3 [0.00] 2013 BMW X5 [0.00]	New ticking noise at around 2,300 RPMs 2013 X5 35i 155000 miles I'm hearing a ticking or fluttering noise that starts around 2,300 RPMs. It seems to happen under a load like going up a hill. Seems to happen right before shifting. I'm wondering if it's a valve in the drive? Are searched and found a few threads but nothing substantial. Any ideas?
