The feature was locked out for a reason yet someone is always looking to hack things to earn money, disgrace IMHO
In the U.S., driving is considered a God-given right, not a privilege. Most Americans can't bear to pay attention to their driving or the environment around them while doing so. Before texting became such a good way to wander from lane to lane, people had to read newspapers, apply makeup, and eat breakfast - all in order to avoid the drudgery of looking forward at the road/traffic at 70+ MPH. We have the most rude and unskilled drivers on the globe.

But hopfully, those wishing this feature are interested in for the sake of their passengers.

The only reason I would get it is for my wife who gets bored on long trips and/or my son who could sit in the middle row and watch it. I really wouldn't expect anyone who is driving to drive around watching DVDs in their dash.

Hello,

Yes, it can be done. We would need to have your car at the shop to get it coded.

Aleks.

We have Plug&Play modules for those who are not local to us. It takes about 20-30 min to install it and it's all 100% Plug&Play.

Can these coding upgrades be done remotely? Would love to upgrade with DVD in motion, rear deck lid open/close etc. but am too chicken to mess with the coding myself. Can't find anyone locally on the ********* website. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

talk to us about how this plug and play works... What we need to do if we are not local and what other things in the car that you can code? I do not want dvd in motion but there are a few other things Id like to be able to do like close the tail gate with the remote as well as from the dash button...

I'd be interested as well if you can do any other coding remotely. I have a laundry list of around 6 things I'd like done, but the dvd in motion is not one of them.
