Winter setup for my X6M

I am using Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow, in sizes that are exactly the same as the original summer ones (275/40/R20 front and 315/35/R20 rear). I've put them on replica wheels that look similar to the OEM ones. Understand narrow tires will help cut through snow better but I love the look of the current setup. There is not that much snow in winter here so hopefully it would work.
