Using an iPhone 4 is there anything special I need to do for this to sync email and texts?

Doing some research and I do not think it will work with iPhone yet. There is some Bluetooth profiles that need to be updated by Apple for this to work.

At the moment it only works with a few limited phones black berry being one of them.

Hopefully Apple and BMW get this straight, especially do to the fact of Apple and BMW working together on the plugin integration. Really hard to believe that with the companies working so closely this would not be working.., makes no sense!
